SOHO to Soho, Miya brings her SOuthern HOspitality to the Big Apple. Raised in a home built on the joy of hosting, she turns every day moments into immersive opportunities to gather. Vibrant with a vintage-edge, Miya layers each soiree with good ole-fashioned human connection.

Prior to launching the Occasionalists, Miya has been elevating the guest experience journey through her executive management work at the 1 Hotel Central Park; transforming spaces as the lead luxury concierge for Water Street Associates; and a key amenity designer for Compass Group/Brookfield Properties as the floor amenity supervisor.

Today, you’ll find her tabling a hoot of fun and turning second-hand cloth into vintage tapestry.
